POLAR PROCESS Inc pumping and extruding equipment not only meets the rigorous sanitary standards demanded by USDA, CFIA, BISSC and 3A but also is designed in a general way with cleanliness in mind. We spend the extra time and money to flange-mount our drives to our own gearboxes rather than using chains and sprockets. The drives we select are generally dairy duty with stainless steel shafts, synthetic food grade oil and white corrosion protection paint finish. We generally use Nord Gear and SEW drives so that you can be sure of 24-7 emergency service on your Polar.

All of our product contact surfaces are 316 stainless steel polished minimum 150 grit and our augers are polished 240 grit or better. Non-contact parts are generally of 304 or 316 stainless steel and polished to minimum 120 grit so that they will always look good. All machining is done on modern CNC boring and milling equipment for the best fit.

We specialize in Allen-Bradley and Siemens control packages and we use Allen-Bradley bi-axial servos on our "Ultrashear" systems to make the most accurate cuts to produce product bars of constantly accurate weight. All of our encoder systems are manufactured in-house as are the custom, sanitary conveyors, which for the most part can be taken apart in less than a minute with no tools at all.
